DescriptionBecome part of an inclusive organization with over 40,000 diverse employees, whose mission is to improve the health and well-being of the unique communities we serve.Summary:The Patient Engagement Navigator serves as a liaison between patients and families and all hospital departments. The Patient Engagement Navigator ensures high quality, positive, and consistent health care experience services. This role collaborates with employees on all levels, patients, and guests.Responsibilities:

Act as consultants in relation to patient engagement to help sustain a patient-family centered environment.

Lead patient engagement/experience training, serving as coaches for Carolina Care. Includes but is not limited to hospital orientation and unit specific work.

Coaches, mentors, and advises front line staff and leaders in developing and sustaining consistent Patient Experience tactics and engagement.

Analyzes data from the Press Ganey database to identify issues and themes within departments and recommend proactive solutions. Provide support on ad hoc requests for data.

Addresses complex and/or sensitive patient concerns in real time and endeavors to resolve them at the point of service. Formal communication with physicians, nursing, department leaders, and multi-disciplinary teams at all levels is required to ensure appropriate follow up of patient concerns.

High school graduate or equivalent.

Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Health Administration, Behavioral Science or an appropriate discipline.
