Anticipated VacancyPosition serves as an Administrative Specialist I in the Lumberton Resident Engineer’s Office (Robeson County). Employee in this position will provide office support assistance to multiple staff. Duties will include typing forms, correspondence, computer data entry, filing, create, and maintain miscellaneous reports in Excel and assist public with inquiries/problems by telephone and personal office contact. Data entry and transfer of weekly payroll utilizing SAP/BEACON operating systems. Process monthly reports in SAP/Excel and other general office duties as required.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / CompetenciesApplicants must submit an application that clearly reflects work experience that demonstrates the following:
Customer service experience, including resolving customer issues.
Experience with Microsoft Office using programs such as Access, Word, and Excel.
Experience completing and/or maintaining records and reports.
Experience interpreting and/or explaining policies, procedures, and laws.
Experience with letter writing, using correct spelling, punctuation, and prooing.
