We help farmers deliver the best possible outcomes, working to achieve the balance between economic, environmental, and social value creation for sustainable and efficient agriculture.As the Manager of North American Seed Supply Quality and Continuous Improvement, you will lead the Quality Management and Quality Control activities for Seed Supply in North America and Australia, ensuring alignment with the global quality management system. This role provides guidance and support to crop Quality Managers in the regions, ensures that all requirements are implemented, confirms that global requirements are suitable for all crops in the regions, and reports relevant information and KPIs/PPIs to management.As a Manager, North American Seed Supply Quality and Continuous Improvement, you create chemistry by

Managing key processes for the responsible regions, including QM planning, audits, quality control methods, testing requirements, seed standards, customer feedback, supplier evaluation, document control, quality training, corrective actions, risk assessment, and regional quality reviews.

Leading a high-performing Quality Management team to implement Quality Management across all seed sites in North America and Australia, aligning with global objectives and improving process efficiency.

Overseeing the Crop Analytics lab team for molecular and quality analyses related to InVigor canola.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to allocate resources, manage objectives, and improve processes supporting the Quality Management System.

Monitoring the Quality Management System's performance, reporting on compliance, KPIs, and measuring against set standards.

Leading Continuous Improvement (CI) programs for NA Seed Supply, fostering a culture of CI within the organization.

Participating in the Global Seeds Quality Leadership Team to align regional efforts with global BASF Seeds Quality Management strategies and objectives.

If you

Possess a B.Sc. (specialization in quality management, science, or another relevant discipline), required.

Hold an M.Sc. (specialization in the sciences associated with agricultural sciences, biotechnology, and quality management or control), preferred.

Bring 8-10+ years of Quality Management, Quality Assurance, and/or Quality Control experience in agriculture, preferably within the seeds sector.

Bring seed industry experience, preferably with seed production.

Have previous experience of leadership of people or projects.

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of integrated quality management systems, including their development and execution.

Exhibit in-depth knowledge of biological and biotechnology science and techniques, along with corresponding knowledge of associated QM & QC systems and processes.

Include auditing experience, preferred.

Are able to travel up to 30% - domestically and internationally.
