Job Title: Over-the-Road (OTR) Driver

Job Summary:
Truck N Miami LLC, a dynamic and growing logistics company based in Miami, FL, is seeking experienced and dependable Over-the-Road (OTR) Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods over long distances, ensuring on-time deliveries, and adhering to all federal and state trucking regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a tractor-trailer/truck to transport goods over long distances, including cross-country or regional routes.
- Plan and manage routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
- Perform regular vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure the truck is in good working order.
- Comply with all DOT regulations and maintain a clean driving record.
- Accurately complete logs, mileage reports, and other required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team to report progress or any issues.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all goods are secured properly during transit.
- Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Stay informed about current weather and traffic conditions to adjust routes as necessary.
- Adhere to Truck N Miami LLC's safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver’s License). OR NON CDL DRIVER
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OTR Driver.
- A clean driving record and a strong commitment to safety.
- Ability to drive for extended periods and manage the physical demands of the job.
- Familiarity with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.).
- Flexibility with schedules and routes.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in transportation are a plus.
