Assembly Assistants and Route Delivery Drivers Needed/Part-Time (Weekends) available
Assistants needed ASAP
LMH Logistics is a delivery service partner with Amazon. We deliver exclusively for Amazon for their heavy/bulky items ranging in weight from 50-300 lbs. Each truck has a driver and an assistant in the vehicle. The Assembly Team assembles these items in customer’s homes. Teams consisting of a driver and assistant will arrive at the Amazon warehouse at 805 S. Briggs Ave. in Durham to pick up, load and deliver items to customer’s homes. The team then works to assemble these items (4-6 items per day per route). Examples include desks, grills, exercise equipment, etc.
Packages are picked and loaded out of our Durham Location each morning.
Qualifications for Drivers and Assistants:
21 years of age and have a valid drivers license (Drivers Only)
18 years of age (Assistants Only)
Pass a background check, motor vehicle record check (drivers), and drug test panel
Job requires being able to move packages ranging in weight from 50-300 lbs
Experience driving larger 24 ft box trucks a plus (but not required, for drivers)
Follow a mapped delivery route, track and report working hours and breaks at appropriate times, adhere to all safety policies, obey all applicable traffic laws, and drive in accordance with all weather and conditions
Payment Structure and Incentive Plans:
Minimum starting salary of $17.00 per hour for assistants
Minimum starting salary of $21.00 per hour for drivers.
