Must be able to read and understand design drawings plus shop fabrication drawings. Purchasing of material for each project. Extensive knowledge of OSHA safety practices. Must be flexible and on time. Must show up to work with a professional attitude and appearance, good communication skills, able to work well with clients and company personnel. A strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task is necessary to meet deadlines in a timely manner. All aspects of projects must be managed from beginning to end and completed on time.
Visit customers and job sites in person, either to walk potential jobs with the customer or to provide customer service/support on site.
Quoting customers for fabrication work. Prepare labor and material quotes
Must have knowledge of the stainless steel industry.
Must have knowledge of fabrication processes and equipment.
Reading customer drawings, blue prints and quoting fabricated parts based on drawings.
Proficient in fabrication computer software programs. Using Auto Cad, Solid Works, Draft Sight programs to quote fabricated packages.
Processing and tracking of change orders
Purchasing/buyout of material, equipment to complete project
Cost management - Maintain hours, material and equipment costs within budget
Be able to read and interpret project specifications
Interact with client to manage job/project
May manage multiple projects in various stages of completion, depending upon size and complexity
Must be able to meet deadlines, multi task, detail oriented, problem solving and project completion.
Leads the planning and implementation of project.
Capable of establishing, maintaining, and understanding schedules according to the needs of the project
Have a minimum of 10 (ten) years of experience in project management Possess strong working knowledge of construction drawings and blueprints. Ability to read design documents and familiarity with design specifications.
Ability to organize and maintain complex data, drawings, requests for information and answers, and miscellaneous information through a project’s completion.
