We’re a small, hands-on general contracting company based in downtown Raleigh, specializing in the adaptive reuse of commercial buildings. We’re looking for a reliable, experienced carpenter who knows their way around both rough and trim work, and has solid experience in historic restoration.
About the Work:
Carpentry work on commercial renovations — mostly downtown Raleigh
Rough framing, trim, millwork, window and door restoration, etc.
Historic building restoration using appropriate tools and materials
Reading plans, staying on schedule, and working independently or with a crew
Maintaining a clean and safe work site
Solving on-site problems and coming up with practical solutions in older buildings
What We’re Looking For:
Experience with historic restoration (not just residential remodels)
Solid skills in rough and finish carpentry
Strong problem-solving skills — able to adapt to field conditions and think on your feet
Familiar with tools, materials, and traditional techniques
Reliable, detail-oriented, and professional
Experience with adaptive reuse or commercial jobs is a plus
OSHA 10 or 30 preferred, but not required
