What is expected of a Crew Team Leader at Carolina Tree Care?

Must be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.

Responsibility for daily production requirements of assigned crews.

Provides Operational leadership with accurate payroll and revenue information of assigned crews.

Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency in the positive enforcement of the company's safety policies, procedures, and daily work requirements.

Abides by all OSHA and ANSI Standards, as well as all company safety and personnel policies.

Assists operational leadership with equipment repairs and the scheduling of Preventive Maintenance.

Politely interface with Carolina Tree Care clients, daily.

Promptly and professionally handle any customer or homeowner complaints, professional conflict resolution

Communicates daily with operational leadership on crew activity, equipment problems, and safety or any other pertinent issues. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Conduct that is consistent with the Mission and Values of the Company.

What you’ll need:

A minimum of two years’ experience as a Crew Leader, or equivalent.

Must demonstrate ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing.

Must be well groomed and in approved uniform apparel.

Must be willing to travel, which may include overnight stays.

Must be willing or able to obtain and maintain an ISA Certified Arborist Qualification, Pesticide Applicators License and/or other certifications as required by the job.

Understand that the hours of service will typically exceed those of other crew members.

Must be able to perform physical tasks and work in the elements.

Have a valid driver’s license, CDL and/or medical certificate required for the vehicle being operated.

Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification.

Pass a pre-employment drug screening.
