Description Robert Half is seeking a competent Inventory and Purchasing Analyst with experience in the retail industry to join our dynamic client’s team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our clients inventory levels, performing accurate demand and supply forecasting, liaising with suppliers, and conducting purchasing operations.Responsibilities:Monitor inventory levels and ensure raw material stock is ready and available for production.Collaborate with sales and operations teams to forecast demand accurately.Develop effective inventory management strategies to avoid understocking or overstocking.Analyze procurement and logistics data to foresee logistical bottlenecks and suggest solutions.Liaise with suppliers and negotiate contract terms of agreements.Place purchasing orders with suppliers and maintain order delivery schedules.Assess supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery reliability.Conduct market research to identify new potential suppliers and vendors.Prepare procurement reports and regularly update management on progress and cost-saving opportunities.Qualifications:A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.Proven experience as an Inventory or Purchasing Analyst, in the retail industry.Excellent knowledge of inventory management and forecasting techniques.Strong analytical skills with the ability to create and process financial spreadsheets.Ability to multitask and work independently or in a team.For immediate consideration please contact directly Steve Fields at 919-787-8226.Requirements A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.Proven experience as an Inventory or Purchasing Analyst, in the retail industry.Excellent knowledge of inventory management and forecasting techniques.Strong analytical skills with the ability to create and process financial spreadsheets.Ability to multitask and work independently or in a team.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
