Job Title: Hardware Design EngineerJob DescriptionWe are on the lookout for a Hardware Design Engineer who will be in charge of the conceptualization, design, development, and delivery of robust electrical designs. The primary work focus will be on complex switching power supplies, analog and digital designs, and board and system test designs. You will thrive in a small team environment, working onsite to learn from and collaborate with experienced engineers. Design and development of complex switching power supplies, analog and digital designs, including power, analog, digital, and linear circuit design

Board and system test designs and troubleshooting skills

Support product execution from initial concept to manufacturing and installation

Develop and implement test equipment, test plans, and generate test reports

Support customer and supplier visits and meetings

Generate and maintain parts lists

Perform evaluations and develop recommendations for repairs, upgrades, and replacements

Conduct field service calls when necessary

Knowledge of analog simulation tools, schematic capture tools (OrCAD preferred)

Familiarity with major test equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, function generators, surge and hi-pot generators

Soft Skills

At least 4 years of relevant hardware design experience

BS degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in hardware design

Ability to learn by collaborating closely with expereince engineers (+25 years of experience)
