Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. Python Developer for an award-winning software organization based in the Raleigh, North Carolina area. Once things are deemed safe with COVID, the Sr. Python Developer will sit in the Raleigh office a few days a week. The Sr. Python Developer will be responsible for building cutting edge security software. Responsibilities for the Sr. Python Developer include: • Design, develop, and implement new scalable software solutions • Collaborate and work with project team members to accomplish the common goal of successfully delivering software products • Debug and troubleshoot issues • Optimize and improve existing code • Learn new programming languages and adopt best programming practices Requirements for the Sr. Python Developer include: • Over 4 years of professional software engineering experience • Strong python and backend development experience • Algorithm development experience • Experience creating RESTful APIs and microservices • AWS and Docker experience is highly preferred • Previous experience writing unit tests • Ability to build new team and environment all greenfield development • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or relevant work experience Compensation of the Sr. Python Developer includes: • $120,000 - $180,000 annually • Full Benefits: Healthcare, Dental.
