Safari Pet Spa is offering a very unique opportunity to the right person: We are interested in going in to business WITH you. Our Mission is to employ and create OWNERS through our Employee Partnership Program where you earn equity and ownership through time and performance. Our goal is to create individual owners of each Safari Pet Spa (SPS) grooming trailer and territory, with as much as 50% ownership in the bottom line (Profit and Loss) of your trailer/territory. Over a specific period of time, you will be co-owner of YOUR SPS unit!
Duties:
- Provide professional grooming services to a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, and other small animals - if you prefer not to groom certain animals, we can remove them from the list of pets we groom.
- Perform grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trims, and ear cleaning
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin and recommend appropriate grooming techniques and products
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area and equipment
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests and preferences
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or questions from pet owners
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a pet groomer or in a related field such as veterinary technician, animal care, or dog training
- Strong knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming needs
- Proficient in animal handling techniques to ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming procedures
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their needs and concerns
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality grooming results
- Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed - though we would prefer to have this only be a Monday through Friday normal work hours type position.
- Ability to tow a 12 foot trailer.
