Electrical Project Manager Fountain Services, LLC is seeking qualified and experienced electrical construction project managers. Fountain is an established industry leader in the electrical trade with offices in Spindale, Charlotte, Hickory, and Asheville, in North Carolina, and in Greenville, South Carolina. We serve customers and projects spread across the western, piedmont, and metrolina regions of North Carolina, and the upstate of South Carolina. The position includes the use of a company vehicle, and we also offer full benefits after a 90-day introductory period. Minimum Experience Requirements Qualified candidates should have 10+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience, including at least 5 years of experience as a foreman or superintendent, and 2 years as a project manager or assistant project manager. Other relevant experience would include work as an estimator, project engineer, or at the management level of a construction company. Additional Requirements and/or Expectations
Applicants must possess a High School diploma or GED.
Applicants must pass a mandatory drug screen and background check.
Training in an apprenticeship or similar program, or in a trade or technical school is preferred.
Applicants should have excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Applicants must be able to multi-task and work well under time constraints.
Familiarity and/or experience with prefabrication applications
Job Description and/or Requisite Proficiencies
Project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and management, to ensure job profitability on multiple projects
Coordination and communication with customers, general contractors, architects, engineers, and other trades
Purchasing and materials acquisition, and management/administration of vendor, supplier, and subcontractor contracts
Manpower planning and allocation
Read/interpret plans, blueprints, specifications, and/or other construction documents
Prepare layout drawings
Handling of RFI’s, Submittals, Purchase Orders, etc.
Assist and/or coordinate with project estimators and engineers
Regular visits to multiple jobsites and attendance at project meetings
Management, oversight, and development of jobsite leadership (foremen/superintendents)
Overall project QA/QC
