Red Stag is hiring a Yard Supervisor for our Julian, North Carolina location!
This is a hands-on position that requires working outdoors.

Position Overview:
The Yard Supervisor is responsible for ensuring smooth operations in the yard area, with duties centered around the inspection, preparation, and coordination of tanker trailers. This position plays a key role in supporting the dispatch team and drivers to maintain efficient logistics and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
-Seal Inspection: Verify and document the seals on tanker trailers to ensure integrity and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
-Tag Washing: Clean and maintain trailer tags to ensure proper identification and readability.
-Milk Sampling: Safely collect milk samples from tanker trailers, adhering to hygiene and safety protocols to ensure quality control.
-Milk Loading (If Required): Assist in the loading of milk into tanker trailers, following proper procedures and guidelines to prevent contamination and spillage.
-Communication: Maintain clear and timely communication with the dispatch team and drivers to provide updates, address issues, and ensure efficient coordination.
Qualifications and Skills:
-23 years of age or older
-Class A CDL preferred
-At Least 1 Year of Tanker Experience/2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
-Tanker Endorsement preferred
-No DUI/DWI in last 5 years
-Clean MVR (No more than 2 moving vehicle violations in the past 3 years)
-Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
-Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and drivers
-Basic understanding of safety and hygiene protocols in handling food-grade materials
-Physical ability to perform tasks such as climbing, lifting, and standing for extended periods
-Flexibility to adapt to various tasks and responsibilities as needed
-Milk experience preferred
Work Environment:
This role involves working outdoors in a yard environment with exposure to weather conditions, noise, and the operation of heavy equipment. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.
Schedule:
May require flexibility in work hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on operational needs.
