We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to pick-up and distribute construction materials and products from our vendors promptly and deliver to our customer's job sites. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Deliver a wide variety of construction material to different addresses and through different routes in the Triad area.
Follow routes and time schedule.
Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a long bed pick-up truck pulling a 10 foot trailer.
Complete travel and delivery logs and reports to include time and job name is extremely important.
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
Required to maintain company truck and notify superintendent of maintenance needs. For example, new tires, oil changes, and any other issues that would arise with vehicle.
Responsible for maintaining and tracking all company tools for job sites located in our garage such as, but not limited to shovels, rakes, wheel barrel, scaffolding, etc.
Skills:
Knowledge of construction materials is a MUST.
Be able to lift 100 lbs. minimum.
Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver and familiar with the Triad area.
Valid professional driver's license.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Good driving record with no traffic violations
High school degree or equivalent.
