We are a pet supplies company located near the Piedmont Triad Airport. Current doing some spring cleaning and reorganizing for the office.
Our Company is seeking reliable and hardworking Day Laborers to assist with a variety of tasks at our warehouse. Day Laborers will perform manual labor duties as assigned by the supervisor, contributing to the completion of projects in a timely and efficient manner. This is a temporary, on-call position with varying hours depending on project needs. Payment is in cash at the end of every day.
Responsibilities:
- Disassembly/assembly of furniture.
- Installation of TV wall mounts and accompanying monitors/electronics.
- Assist with site preparation and cleanup.
- Transportation of merchandise from one location to the other.
- Follow instructions and safety guidelines provided by the supervisor.
- Operate hand tools and power tools as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform physical laborious tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 60 lbs.)
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Able to perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred: Handyman experience
Preferred: Valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to work in various strenuous conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Compensation:
$14 per hour
