Sustain automated optical inspection (AOI) system and measurement in production for a high-volume wafer fab and assist in developing new and advanced technology and processes to support new product launch activities

Monitor and maintain process control, standardize process and procedure documentations, provide skills training and technical mentoring to operators/technicians in production, and support production through operations technicians

Work with multidiscipline groups within fab to identify continuous improvement projects in yield and quality

Utilize sound problem-solving methodologies to support process and yield improvements and to utilize statistical methods to ensure process control

Demonstrated sense of urgency, data driven and results-oriented and require little supervision and direction

This position will report to the Yield and Quality Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

BS/MS/PhDor equivalent in engineering or material/physics science

2+ years relevant experience

Experience with wafer fabrication process preferred

Experience with automated optical inspection (AOI) system and measurement and defect analysis is highly desirable

Working knowledge of compound semiconductor and acoustic filter device fabrication is preferred

Strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis techniques, design of experiments (DOE), and basic RF concepts

Experience with establishing process control and monitoring systems to support high-volume manufacturing

Versatility and ability to multi-task, solid interpersonal skills and cross-functional effectiveness are critical
