If you seek to make a difference on a global scale, working with next-gen technologies and the sharpest collaborative teams, then we could be a perfect match.What you will doThe purpose of this position is to support commercial pricing execution for Mack Trucks North American Sales and Marketing. This position is responsible for securing timely and high-quality quotation decisions related to pricing and deal structure. This position will also be responsible for recommending improvements in processes, reporting, and communication.Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities Continuously work quotes that come into your deal queue while staying within the pricing guidelines to meet objectives for your regional targets. Collaborate with Remarketing, Sales Engineering, Order & Distribution, Mack Financial Services and Truck Billing teams to gather the necessary information to correctly and competitively quote new trucks. Conduct transactional pricing functions including retail pricing and transaction pricing for US and Canada. Perform margin analysis and competitive price analysis for US and Canada markets. Execute sales initiatives that cultivate retail business including the wholesale and retail sales programs, such as special leasing programs, dealer stocking programs, quick build initiatives, and activities targeting select customer segments. Maintain customer quotation and correspondence files on all fleet transactions and handle communications of information to both Dealers and Senior Management. Recommend pricing strategies to maintain target margins to meet/exceed company goals. Maintain Sales Support Function Box addressing all emails within a four-hour period. Provide assistance to field personnel in resolving any issues surrounding new and current transactions. Contribute to the commercial organization’s business and financial targets. Work within our systems resolving discrepancies to keep internal processes flowing smoothly. Answer all phone calls and emails within one hour. We are the first line to our field team and dealers when it comes to selling trucks. Review/Address warranty mismatches, dealer failed statuses, return to stock issues, etc. Work simple, complex, and Committee deals by preparing the financial data, deal summary, approval routing and recommendations. Support CAQ Cases (Customer Adaptation price requests) as needed in conjunction with the Price Strategy and Sales Engineering teams.Who are you?Do you dream big? Must be a team player with excellent communication skills.Essential Educational and/or Training Qualifications and Certificates Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.Preferred Experience and Knowledge 3-5 years’ experience in a Sales, Pricing, Finance, Data Analytics or Production environment. Technical knowledge of Mack product offerings and abilities. Experience in multi-faceted problem solving & experience with customer/dealer contact. Experience using pricing software.
