Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator (GPS Dozer and Loader Operator) for an immediate start in Fort Bragg, NC!

Housing/Hotel provided!

This is a FULL TIME TRAVEL OPPORTUNITY!

Next project will be in Key West, FL with housing AND per diem included!

PAY: $25-$28/hour (based upon experience)

HOURS: Shifts will be 8-hour workdays, 5 days per week (40 hours/ week)

SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday-Friday; 7:00am – 3:30pm

START DATE: ASAP

DURATION: temp-to-perm

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GPS Dozer Operator who also has experience operating a loader and performing asphalt work. Working on military airfield bases around the region.

Key Responsibilities:

-Equipment Operation: Operate GPS-equipped bulldozers to perform grading, leveling, and earthmoving operations according to project specifications.

-Site Plan Interpretation: Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes to understand project requirements.

-Grade Control: Maintain precise grade control and ensure adherence to project specifications.

-Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on dozers and GPS equipment.

-Asphalt Work: Perform asphalt work including paving, milling, and other tasks as necessary.

-Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

-Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and other team members.

Qualifications:

-Proven experience operating GPS-equipped bulldozers, loaders and performing asphalt work in construction

-Strong understanding of GPS technology and its application in grading and earthwork.

-Ability to read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes.

-Proficiency in operating and maintaining heavy equipment.

-Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Additional Qualifications:

-Valid driver's license

-Ability to obtain a badge for military base access.

-Must be a US citizen, hold a valid work visa, or possess a green card.

-Knowledge of construction safety regulations (OSHA).
