Local property management company is seeking a full time grounds/ housekeeper for an apartment community in Southern Pines, North Carolina.
Description of Position
The position will be responsible for the removal of trash and for the cleanliness of all common areas.
The position will assist in turnovers and other basic maintenance functions in vacant units and on the grounds as directed
Position is full time; Monday-Friday 8 am-4:30 pm
Goals of Position
Work to ensure that interior and exterior property areas meet company safety and physical appearance standards.
Promote good public relations with residents, co-workers, and company staff through great service-oriented attitude and resident trust.
Display a friendly and courteous attitude towards residents and other employees.
Coordinate objectives with the on-site manager daily.
Build and maintain residents' confidence and foster good relations.
Adhere to and obey Fair Housing Laws.
Knowledge, Skill and Experience Requirements
Must pay attention to detail.
Must be able to follow directions and work unsupervised.
Must be trustworthy, hardworking and exhibit a willingness to learn and participate in maintenance functions.
While performing the above responsibilities and assignments, you may be required to perform tasks that will require some physical exertion.
Required
Previous grounds/housekeeping experience
Vehicle to use at work daily
Valid drivers license and good driving record
Must adhere to and obey fair housing laws
Physical, drug and background tests
High school diploma or equivalent
