We are in immediate need of a General Civil Site & Utility Development Superintendent - "Specific to site developing consisting of mass grading, ponds, underground retention systems, water, sewer and storm drain utilities including lift stations. We also require that this person have a strong knowledge in concrete and asphalt paving and numerous other coinciding trades in the industry of “complete site work development” 10 years plus minimum experience required.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the company’s grading and utility crews and subcontractors daily. Schedule in house crews with foreman and superintendents. Communicate with PM’s and owner to schedule subcontractors and delivery of materials in a well-executed manner of timeliness.
Supervise day to day workflow of multiple jobs while maximizing productivity, minimizing costs, and maintaining safety and quality.
Work with owners, engineers, surveyors, inspectors to build the project to local specifications and satisfactory of the owners.
Attend on-site and or virtual progress meeting with owners or building GC’s as required.
Maintain schedules, budgets and work closely with VP and estimators to monitor all work being performed is on schedule and budget.
Coordination with office staff in advance for procurement of permits and local inspections as well as “811” locates.
Schedule all transportation of heavy equipment with drivers, materials.
Communicate with foreman and superintendents in advance for scheduling of in house and sub dump trucks.
Reviews and compiles operations records such as safety reports, equipment and tool inspections and equipment and supply usage.
Coordinate daily & routine equipment & truck maintenance with mechanics and crews.
Perform weekly safety and schedule meetings to make sure the teams are always safe and completing the task given to them.
Recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and training employees.
Employee assessment and performance and resolving employee problems.

Requirements:
Must have 10 years' experience in site work development, such as water, sewer, lift stations, storm drainage installation, earthwork, etc.
Must have a valid NC driver's license and a clean driving record
Proficient skills with Lasers, Line & Grade, GPS equipment
Good understanding of working safety and OSHA requirements
Competent Person/Confined Space Certification, NPDES (erosion control), First Aid, CPR.
Compensation: Salary Based on Experience
