IT Resilience & Business Continuity Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for an IT Resilience & Business Continuity Manager to strengthen our business continuity, disaster recovery (BC/DR), and IT resilience strategies to protect our key services and restrict disruptions in our business across the world.As our IT Resilience & Business Continuity Manager, you would be responsible for designing and managing a comprehensive continuity and disaster recovery system to put METRO's IT and business processes in a state of readiness in anticipation of potential disruptions.Your tasks:Develop and maintain METRO’s Business Continuity & IT Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) strategy, ensuring compliance with e.g. ISO 22301, ITIL, and other industry standards.Lead IT resilience planning, including backup strategies, crisis simulations, and recovery drills.Enforce and improve IT service continuity management (ITSCM) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) policies.Collaborate with IT, security, and business leaders to integrate resilience into IT architecture and operations.Regularly test disaster recovery and business continuity plans through tabletop exercises and real-world simulations.Prepare and present reports, metrics, and recommendations to senior management to facilitate informed decision-making.Keep METRO ahead of emerging threats, regulations, and industry best practices in IT resilience.
