Piper Companies is currently looking for a
Senior React/Node Software Engineer to join a team in Durham, NC. This Senior React/Node Software Engineer will be working on a greenfield development project and platform leveraging React, Node, and AWS. This roleis a permanent, full-time opportunity and will work in a hybrid capacity, being in office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).Responsibilities for the Senior React/Node Software Engineer include: • Design and develop solutions using JavaScript technologies such as Node, Express, React • Assist in the entire software development lifecycle including design, specifications and improvement through implementation • Review code from internal and external teams, while supporting enhancements • Promote use of Agile and DevOps methodologies and patterns • Support designs allowing for flexibility in user interfaces, APIs, and technologiesQualifications for the Senior React/Node Software Engineer include: • 3+ years' experience developing and designing solutions within JavaScript technologies (i.e., Node, Express, React) • Prior experience deploying to AWS, and architecting microservices • Experience within an Agile environment, working with CI/CT/CD process and tools • Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fieldCompensation/Benefits for the Senior React/Node Software Engineer include: • Salary Range: $115,000-$160,000 (based on professional experience) • ROAM Program-24 additional day per year to work from home or anywhere else • Blue Cross & Blue Shield insurance with preventative care covered at 100% • Annual $500/$1000 deposit into your Health Savings Account with high deductible medical plan • Life and AD&D benefits are company provided at 2x your annual salary • Tuition reimbursement of up to $5,000 per calendar year after at least 12 consecutive months fulltime employment
