Scientist (Upstream Process Support Lab)

This position will provide hands-on support to the lab’s process development, process monitoring, and manufacturing support work.  Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Prepare various media solutions for upstream laboratory experimentsDiligently follow SOPs and standard practices to safely and effectively execute laboratory tasksUtilize aseptic technique to execute biological experimentsTrain on and then independently execute analytical testing for lab studies, including :Moisture testingMetabolic analyzers (e.g. BioProfile)UV/Vis spectroscopyDynamic Light ScatteringDocument lab work in a data integrity and GDP-compliant manner in an electronic laboratory notebook and/or paper protocolsComplete second scientist reviews in laboratory notebooks and technical documentsAdhere to a safe working culture: participate in lab safety walk-throughs, and follow all site- and lab-safety procedures including biosafety requirements, cross-contamination procedures, PPE, etc.Strong pipetting techniques required
