Job Opportunity: Parcel Delivery Service – Charlotte & Surrounding Area
We are a premier parcel delivery service experiencing significant growth and are currently seeking reliable candidates in the Charlotte area for immediate hire.
Job Overview:
As a delivery driver, you will be expected to report to our warehouse, located off Carowinds Blvd., every morning between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM to receive your daily load. You will be responsible for sorting and packing your deliveries to ensure all items are accounted for before beginning your route. The role involves delivering parcels, similar to packages from Amazon or Temu, directly to our customers’ doorsteps or mail rooms. Please note that drivers are required to use their own vehicle, as we do not provide transportation. Your daily route will be uploaded and organized through our system to ensure efficient and accurate deliveries.
Available Routes:
We currently have two routes available:
East Charlotte to Harrisburg/University area
West Charlotte to Pineville/Fort Mill area
The routes are designed to be compact, with typical daily deliveries ranging from 50 to 100 packages. On average, our drivers complete 100 deliveries within 7 hours or less, while 50 deliveries generally take about 4 hours.
Compensation:
We offer $1.50 per parcel delivered. For example, completing 100 deliveries can earn you $150. Additionally, we provide a $10 daily gas incentive to help offset fuel costs. Most drivers find that 100 deliveries typically requires about half a tank of gas, so the $10 incentive covers the majority of the cost.
Pay Period: Monday through Sunday
Payday: Every Friday
Your first paycheck will be held for the first week of employment and will be issued on the second Friday (e.g., if you start between 12/2-12/7, your first check will be issued on 12/20). Going forward, you will receive weekly pay every Friday.
For the duration of your first week, the daily gas incentive will be provided until your first paycheck is issued. After that, the gas incentive will be included in your weekly pay.
We currently have an abundance of packages, and drivers can receive up to 140 deliveries per day, which could result in earnings of up to $200 per day.
