Responsibilities:
Accurately interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and building plans.
Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks, including framing, roofing, finish carpentry, and more.
Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, stairs, cabinets, and molding.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and in compliance with relevant building codes and safety regulations.
Collaborate effectively with other members of the construction team, including supervisors, subcontractors, and clients.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 15 years of demonstrable experience as a professional carpenter.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans is absolutely essential.
Must possess reliable transportation to and from various job sites in the Hickory, North Carolina area and surrounding regions.
Must own and maintain a comprehensive set of professional-grade carpentry tools necessary to perform the required tasks efficiently and effectively.
Must be drug and alcohol-free and willing to submit to drug testing as required.
Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are crucial.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate of $25 - $30 per hour, commensurate with experience and demonstrated skills.
