Job Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of warehouse operations, including but not limited to:
● Collecting order notes to fulfill deliveries efficiently.
● Receiving and processing incoming orders and merchandise.
● Accurately updating inventory counts in the system.
● Sorting and stocking shelves with new orders according to established procedures.
● Operating various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks, safely and effectively.
● Selecting ordered items from storage shelves or rooms using barcodes and serial numbers to ensure accuracy.
● Securely shrink-wrapping items before packing them into envelopes or boxes for shipment.
● Operating all handling equipment in strict adherence to industrial safety regulations.
● Loading and unloading delivery vehicles as needed.
● Updating stock inventory promptly after each item is retrieved.
● Managing stock control, which includes item replenishment and optimizing storage.
● Performing general warehouse duties as necessary to maintain a clean and organized environment.
Requirements and Skills
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
● Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy objects and stand on your feet for extended periods of time.
● Computer Proficiency: Ability to operate a computer system to update the inventory management system as needed.
● Equipment Operation: Ability to operate industrial equipment.
● Education: Minimum U.S. High School Diploma or GED.
● Experience: A minimum of 3 months of employment experience in a Stocker and Order Filler occupation is required.
Compensation
● Annual Wage: $30,867.00 per year
