Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Auto Mechanic to join our busy automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. Candidates must must be a self starter and be committed to providing high-quality workmanship.
We also have availability for Auto Detailer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics and repairs on foreign and domestic vehicles
Inspect and identify mechanical and electrical issues
Conduct routine maintenance services (oil changes, brake jobs, tune-ups, starters, anlternators, suspension etc.)
Repair or replace worn parts, such as brakes, bearings, and shocks
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Communicate clearly with service advisors about repair needs and timelines
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on auto repair experience preferred
Retired persons looking for work incurraged to apply.
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components
Ability to operate diagnostic tools and repair equipment
The shop is in Rock Hill so please don’t come from outside of Rock Hill and say it’s far to drive.
Requirements:
Must be reliable and possess the ability to receive instruction and correction.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Pay Structure:
Flat Rate Pay System: Mechanics are Independent Contractors paid based on the labor completed(not hourly). The more work completed, the more you earn.
Opportunity for overtime depending on workload and performance
