We are currently accepting applications for a Landscape Foreman Position. The Landscape Foreman is responsible for overseeing the work of a 3 to 5 member crew in order to assure the proper, efficient and timely completion of installation projects. They must maintain a high standard of quality in materials, workmanship and professionalism on the job. Much of what we do requires a strong understanding of grading and drainage in addition to the typical horticultural aspects of landscaping. The ideal candidate will have experience shooting elevations with topographical laser equipment and be able to use those readings to implement custom solutions to existing grading / drainage problems. They must have a strong interest in horticulture and have knowledge of both installation procedures and available products for the following items:
¾Shade trees, flowering trees, privacy / buffer plantings
¾Woody ornamentals, perennials and annuals
¾Drainage systems and grading techniques
¾Paver patio and retaining wall construction
¾Irrigation systems
¾Landscape lighting
RESPONSIBILITIES:
¾Supervise by leading and working with the crew on all jobs from start to finish.
¾Plan and execute all aspects of residential and commercial landscape installation projects.
¾Ensure that crews have the training and tools needed to complete the job and that the crews are operating safely and efficiently at all times.
¾Coordinate with management, customers and employees as needed.
¾Use landscaping tools and operate heavy equipment as needed.
¾Safely drive crews to and from jobs adhering to our safety policy.
REQUIREMENTS:

¾Good knowledge of plant material and horticultural practices

¾Ability to work with people and communicate effectively
¾Superb attendance and tardiness record
¾Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
¾Intermediate MS Outlook, Word, and Excel experience
¾3-5 years experience as a Landscape Foreman or related position
¾Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred
