Job Title: Janitorial Field Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Janitorial Field Supervisor oversees daily cleaning operations at multiple client sites, ensuring quality service, adherence to safety standards, and client satisfaction. This role is responsible for supervising janitorial staff, scheduling, training, conducting inspections, and resolving issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise janitorial crews across multiple locations.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure cleaning standards and safety protocols are met.
Communicate effectively with clients to address concerns and maintain high satisfaction.
Train, coach, and onboard new employees in cleaning procedures, company policies, and safety guidelines.
Prepare and manage employee schedules, shift coverage, and timekeeping.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are available and properly maintained.
Assist with hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
Respond promptly to emergency cleaning needs or client requests.
Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and other applicable laws.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in janitorial or custodial services, with 1+ year in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Valid driver's license (required for travel between sites).
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a must
Work Conditions:
Must be able to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Flexible to work evenings, early mornings, weekends, or on-call as needed.
