Tar Heel Foundation Solutions is currently seeking Foundation/Crawlspace repair workers. We are hiring full-time help, with an expected 40-50 hours per week. Prior experience in foundation/crawlspace/floor repair or construction is preferred; however, we will train for this position. We offer competitive pay based on experience along with a bonus program and paid holidays. As a team member of Tar Heel Foundation, you will be working in the customers’ homes, restoring the integrity of their foundations/crawlspaces through a variety of projects.
Job Duties
Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area.
Install helical piers for foundation support.
Repair bowing walls using carbon fiber, tiebacks, I-Beams whalers, etc.
Remove and replace/finish concrete.
Build and repair CMU’s/footers.
Install new drop girders/band/sister floor joists.
Install crawlspace encapsulation/vapor barrier.
Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
Lifting a minimum of 60lbs.
Working in confined workspaces that may require crawling, kneeling, crouching.
Standing for extended periods of time.
Carrying, climbing, pulling, stooping, high energy, stamina
Ability to work in different work environments.
Job Requirements
Valid Driver’s license.
Reliable transportation.
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift 75lbs repeatedly.
Willingness to work as part of a team.
Desire to work outdoors.
