We are the Institutional Marketing UX team, focused on reimagining how Vanguard evolves its site experience to give our users the best chance for investment success. The impact will reach far beyond our team to set new standards for the digital manifestation of the Vanguard brand.In this role, you will:
Translate concepts into user flows, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
Demonstrate a curiosity for understanding the WHY and developing a hypothesis to test concepts.
Work with UX Designers, UX Strategists, UX developers, Project Managers, Creative Service designers and Product owners.
Take a user-centered interaction design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs.
Create visual user interface designs that implement a consistent brand style throughout.
Communicate design concepts through sketches, wireframes, and low- and high-fidelity prototypes.
Design micro-interactions to delight our users.
Use data to help support your design decisions.
Present work to internal stakeholders for review and approval.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Self-manage deliverables to ensure schedules are met.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
What it takes:
3 years of hands-on experience in a UX role.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience in a creative or technical field.
Proficient in Figma.
Expert attention to detail.
Excellent active listening, time management, organization, and observational skills.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to converse directly with clients to gather requirements and achieve agreement with partners and stakeholders.
Attention to accessibility and inclusive design.
