Strategic Sourcing PrincipalAs a Strategic Sourcing Principal and member of the Honeywell-Intelligrated Strategic Sourcing Team you will be responsible for driving accuracy and clarification throughout end-to-end lifecycle of proposals and subcontracts. You will be accountable for completing post-award review of Scopes of Work (SOWs), executing program-aligned SOW updates, and collaborating with key functions within and outside of strategic sourcing to facilitate proposal updates and providing guidance that aligns with leadership objectives. This role requires a detailed insight into the DoD procurement life cycle, strong negotiation skills, engineering mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.You will work out of our Charlotte, NC or Mason, OH location on a Hybrid work schedule. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance Become subject matter expert on Honeywell-Intelligrated products to drive cross-functional understanding Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify strategic suppliers and onboard them Guide supplier negotiations and contract management to ensure favorable terms and conditions Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance and supply chain efficiency Work with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives Communicate technical information with internal teams, leverage knowledge of materials and systems to drive favorable sourcing/business decisions Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to mitigate risks and ensure complianceBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, Mental Health Paid Vacation 401k Plan/Retirement Benefits (as per regional policy) Career Growth Professional DevelopmentYOU MUST HAVE 8+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering Strong negotiation skills and processes Project Management and/or Systems Engineering mindset Ability to self-reliantly guide multiple projects simultaneously Strong communication skills - verbal and writtenWE VALUE Bachelor's Degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Technical discipline Experience with large scale projects based commercial construction Experience with SAP or similar procurement systems preferred Procurement experience within large-scale commercial construction or a similar industry Significant experience managing projects Ability to negotiate terms and conditions Experience with executing subcontractsABOUT HONEYWELLHoneywell International Inc.
