About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking an Executive Director to join their Municipal Institutional Sales team as part of the Municipal Products Group (MPG). This individual will be responsible for building relationships with Tier 1 Institutional investors to help our clients reach their objectives while maximizing trading flows, generating revenues, fostering/deepening relationships with investor clients, and helping develop other team members by acting as a leader in this segment.In this role, you will:
Sell primary product (through negotiated Public Finance deal flow and competitive underwriting bids)
Focus on secondary markets by executing risk/riskless/electronic/other trades
Partner with members of MPG to provide solutions related to financing, leverage, hedging, and other areas
Have extensive knowledge of the municipal market industry and maintain significant depth of relationships with Tier 1 Institutional investors
Demonstrate knowledge of relative value, trading spreads, municipal credits, account preferences, and other market dynamics to maximize trade flows
Familiar with various nuances of the municipal market, including tax-exempt & taxable bonds, short-term & long-term maturities, and high grade & high yield credits
Act as a leader, team player, and trusted partner to sales, trading, underwriting and the rest of the Municipal Products Group
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Securities Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
10+ years municipal capital markets sales and/or trading experience
Strong existing relationships and positive feedback from Tier 1 Institutional municipal investors
Ability to cultivate and grow new relationships
History of working in team-oriented environment to maximize customer impact and productivity
Strong knowledge of all segments of the municipal market, including tax-exempt & taxable bonds, short-term & long-term maturities, and high grade & high yield credits
Experience selling municipal derivative products a plus
Job Expectations:
Up to 15% travel
Registration for FINRA Security Industry Essentials (SIE) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
