Basic Job Functions:The HR Generalist plays a vital role in delivering exceptional HR service and operational excellence at Nucor. This position ensures a seamless and positive experience for teammates throughout their journey by collaborating across departments to execute HR transactions with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Recruitment & Onboarding: Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, manage onboarding activities, and facilitate new hire orientations to ensure a smooth and engaging transition for new teammates.

HR Data Management: Maintain teammate records including personal information, leave requests, benefits, and internal movement while ensuring compliance and a seamless teammate experience.

Compensation: Support Nucors compensation cycles, including annual planning and bonus preparation.

Compliance & Best Practices: Stay up to date on employment laws and HR processes ensuring Nucor remains compliant with all relevant regulations.

Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate, analyze, and interpret HR data and reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

HR Projects & Initiatives: Contribute to various HR projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, improving teammate experience, and driving operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in HR Management or related field

2 years administration experience in HR or related field

2 years experience with Microsoft Office products

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software

SuccessFactors Applicant Tracking System Experience

Learning Management System Experience
