We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Cybersecurity Engineer with our large global client. In this role, you will assess existing strategies and new technologies, recommend new strategies, and execute projects to mitigate security gaps.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Responsibilities of the Cybersecurity Engineer: - Monitor cyber controls, assess gaps, and recommend improvements
- Design user training programs and communication strategies
- Design and coordinate implementation of cybersecurity projects
- Conduct penetration testing, simulating an attack on the system to find exploitable weaknesses, and monitors networks and systems for security breaches
- Mentors IT development teams on security best practices
Requirements of the Cybersecurity Engineer: - Associate degree or technical school equivalent
- 5+ years of IT experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience remediating network/application based attacks, SIEM, AD, and cloud security
- Azure experience is a must!
- Experience identifying, communicating, and tracking remediation of IT threats
- Familiarity with relevant NIST information security documentation
- One of the following preferred: CISA, CEH, ISSAP, ISSEP
