Description We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented bookkeeper to help our client's organization deal with a backlog of financial information. Your primary duties will entail taking charge of the company's financial data by recording transactions, updating financial statements, and tracking financial performance.Responsibilities:

Rebuilding and updating the client's bookkeeping system which is currently backlogged.

Maintaining and managing the general ledger.

Recording and reconciling financial transactions.

Preparing financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Processing accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing.

Managing payroll processes, including taxes, benefits, and other deductions.

Cooperating with the accounting team to ensure timely and precise accounting and financial reporting.

Qualifications:

Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role in accounting.

Proficiency in QuickBooks

Strong data entry skills and high attention to detail.

Good understanding of accounting principles.

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

Excellent time management abilities to effectively meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Prior experience working on backlogged bookkeeping will be highly regarded.
