Description We are inviting applications for the role of an Administrative Assistant with a law firm. This role is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is central to our operations. The chosen candidate will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks, from processing phone calls and maintaining schedules, to filing documents and updating our database. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Manage and direct incoming phone calls efficiently Maintain and update the company database regularly Handle the ordering and management of office supplies Manage and maintain schedules and calendars effectively Carry out filing duties to ensure all documents are stored and retrieved effectively Ensure all administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner Assist with any additional administrative tasks as required Ensure all administrative processes and procedures are complied with at all times.Requirements Proven experience in an administrative role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Demonstrated ability to manage office equipment, including printers, computers, and fax machines. Knowledge of office management systems and procedures. Ability to adapt to changing work environments and schedules. Experience with filing and record keeping. Proficiency in administrative office procedures and protocol. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service skills.
