Learn more at: http://synechron.com/technology Role: Accessibility Coach/SMEWork Location: Charlotte, NCDuration: Long Term Project Provide training/coaching to various products teams/developers/QA teams on Accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 & Section 508), testing. Building an Accessibility Implementation Program to work with Business, Product, Design, Engineering & Legal leaders to identify, prioritize & deliver high impact accessibility initiatives Representing the Accessibility in communication across the organization. Participate in Agile Scrum Ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups; participate in SAFe planning – Program Increment (PI) Planning. Analyze web analytics, user paths, user feedback/surveys, and usability test results to create and refine user requirements that represent strategic site features and improvements Implementing Accessibility Policy. Providing solutions to product teams on various accessibility features implementation. Evaluating the Accessibility standards with respect to Low Vision of various applications using Screen Magnifiers like ZoomText and MAGic. Evaluating Contrast Ratio of applications using Color Contrast Analyzer and Accessibility developer Tools. Identify the severity of issues and escalate jeopardy items to appropriate personnel. Provide accessibility best practices for business teams from concepts through UAT testing in an Agile environment. Work with legal and compliance teams supporting Accessibility for litigation responses. Create and implement action plans and processes as part of the usability methodology (Human Centered Design, Design Thinking, AgileUX, LeanUX). Establish and maintain industry best practices.
