Our client, a developer of robotic-assisted surgical devices, is seeking a Laboratory Assembly Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Assembly technician, you will be part of the production team supporting fellow team members, shift managers, and the engineers to meet performance goals. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, will be team oriented, and have a high level of comprehension which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Laboratory Assembly TechnicianLocation: Chapel Hill, NCPay Range: $18/hourWhat’s the Job?
Working in a dry lab environment assembling a variety of tissue products according to standard instructions and prints
Operate and set up production supplies/equipment
Perform inspection and simple repairs on one's own or other's work
Become proficient at multiple assembly tasks while meeting requirements for workmanship, safety, and productivity
Initiate basic material requests, report quality issues, report efficiency, record measurements as needed
What’s Needed?
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience completing complex assembly tasks
Must have finger dexterity to cut, sew, join, reinforce, or suture parts of surgical mold made of pork products
Fine motor skills and strong attention to detail
Adherence to all corporate, regulatory, safety, and production policies and procedures

Temporary to hire opportunity
$500 sign on bonus after the first month and an additional $500 each following month for up to five months
Weekly pay with direct deposit
Monday-Friday schedule, 1st shift (7am-3:30pm) hours
