Job Title: Signal Processing EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Signal Processing Engineer with an active TS/SCI Clearance and CI Polygraph. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in signal processing applications and a strong background in data analytics and machine learning. This role involves optimizing the performance of software algorithms and platforms, as well as developing and documenting algorithm and implementation requirements.Responsibilities
Research and discover improvements to existing signal processing algorithms.
Explore the application of advanced analytics to signal processing, including machine learning techniques.
Optimize the performance of software algorithms, applications, and platforms.
Develop and document algorithm and implementation requirements.
Leverage and refine existing software to support new applications.
Essential Skills
Active TS/SCI Clearance with a CI Polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
5+ years’ experience with applications of signal processing.
Experience with the development and application of data analytics, including machine learning or other Artificial Intelligence techniques.
Proficiency in signal processing and mathematical skills, including implementation in software (C, C, Python, Matlab, etc.).
Knowledge of communication system theory and related signal processing techniques (filtering, sampling, modulation, demodulation, etc.).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Advanced degree preferred.
Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working and collaborating in a multi-disciplinary and results-oriented research team setting.
Experience with communication systems, X-Midas, and Linux.
