Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounts Payable Clerk in Cary, North Carolina, United States. This role is primarily focused on the processing and disbursement of payments on a weekly basis, with a strong emphasis on maintaining accurate records and resolving any issues that may arise. The role also requires proficiency in various software programs such as Google, Outlook, Teams, and more. The industry is a complex and detailed manufacturing environment, and the position will involve working with detailed purchase orders and reconciling invoices.Responsibilities: Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Regularly maintain and update customer credit records. Handle customer inquiries and effectively resolve any issues. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Assist with expense issues and perform auditing tasks as needed. Take the initiative to research and resolve issues before escalating them. Manage the accounts payable process, reducing the need to outsource these tasks. Work with complex and detailed purchase orders in a manufacturing environment. Accurately reconcile invoices to purchase orders. Use tech tools like Google, Outlook, Teams, and more to perform tasks efficiently.
