Senior Bartender

Senior Bartender ensures bar operations run smoothly through supervision of the bar area, beverage offerings, service standards and team trainings. Reports to the Restaurant Manager.Makes, mixes and pours alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests at the bar and restaurantProvides friendly, cheerful, attentive and timely service to create an exceptional experience for all guestsArranges bottles and glasses to make an attractive display and merchandise drinksCreates, maintains and checks the cleaning schedule of the bar including the refrigerators (outside, inside, and gaskets), shelves with spirits, walk-ins, and storage rooms  Participates in inventory checks and routinely monitors stock levels, communicating with management when orders need to be placed  Assists with preparing weekly pars for pre-batch cocktails, syrups and garnishesCleans the beer lines monthlyCommunicates new ideas or changes to the menuPlaces weekly produce ordersProvides training to new bar team members, and routinely trains the restaurant team on spirits and cocktailsVerifies that descriptions of cocktails are consistent with what the bar team deliversMaintains a clean and sanitary bar that meets Department of Health standardsComplies with all food and beverage regulationsPerforms other duties as required or assigned
