The Anchorage in the Village of West Greenville (SC) is seeking a Service Manager. As the face of our operation on the floor developing a team with a genuine sense of hospitality is paramount to the success of our operation. A service manager sets the tone of the evening with a positive outlook, a focus on growing knowledge, and a true

desire to exceed guests expectations. With our casual approach to fine dining this position will give the opportunity to move freely as challenges arise while maintaining a focus on excellence in hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

● Maintain an understanding of the proper steps of service required of all FOH service positions

● Have a base knowledge and understanding of classic cookery, wine, beer, and cocktails

● Have a general knowledge and understanding of Department of Health food safety standards

● Organize and complete the administrative set up and break down of service (including but not limited to: creation of floor plans, menus, employee check in, employee cash outs, bank close out etc.)
