Leo’s House of Thirst is adding breakfast—and we’re on the hunt for a skilled barista with serving chops to help bring this new chapter to life.
Located in the heart of West Asheville, Leo’s is a neighborhood wine bar known for its character, community, and curated offerings. As part of Drew Wallace’s family of standout local spots (The Admiral, The Bull and Beggar, Baby Bull), we’re serious about hospitality and passionate about quality—from the espresso shot to the last pour of wine.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has barista experience (dialing in, milk steaming, workflow)
Can move fluidly between the bar and the floor
Thrives in morning service and is comfortable with a fast-paced, high-touch environment
Communicates warmly and professionally with guests and team members
Knows their way around a POS and doesn’t flinch under pressure
Bonus if you:
Have a deep love of coffee and breakfast culture
Bring a little flair to your latte art
Want to grow with a creative, tight-knit team
The Role:
Pulling espresso, taking to-go coffee and food orders, running food and jumping in on the floor as needed. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who loves variety and takes pride in the guest experience from both sides of the bar.
Schedule:
Morning shifts starting around 8:00am and end on weekdays around 12:30 and 2:30 on weekends
Full- and part-time available
Compensation:
Hourly base + tips
Daytime schedule = evenings free
Supportive team, real growth potential
