ProSidian Seeks a Civil Structural Engineer - Engineering (DS107) Engagement Team | SCA - Labor Hour Subcontract located Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina supporting a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation [SRMC]) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy.Seeking Civil Structural Engineer candidates DS107.  This as a Labor Hour Subcontract or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.JOB OVERVIEWProvide services and support as a Civil Structural Engineer (DS107) at Savannah River Site / Aiken, South CarolinaRESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Civil Structural Engineer - Engineering (DS107)Duties: Provide design and construction oversight of structural engineering tasks on assigned SRR Engineering Teams. 
Structural engineering tasks include: Analysis of structural systems for both static and dynamic loads using manual computation and computer programs. Design of concrete structures. Design of steel, aluminum, stainless steel, timber, and composite structures. Foundation and anchorage design. Structural analysis for impact, overpressure, and other accident conditions. Preparation of CSI specifications. Review of vendor documents. Travel off-site may be required to interface with vendors, fabricators, and other engineering organizations. Engineering services will use SRR processes and procedures, with programmatic guidance provided by SRR.
