See below one of many career opportunities to join to RPO team!Job Summary:Complete environmental, durability, reliability and other testing of mechanical, optical and opto-electronic products, components and processes. May work in a cleanroom environment and under low-light settings.Essential Job Duties:

Complete Environmental testing of products, components and processes to specified drawings, standards, specifications and plans.

Complete Durability and Reliability testing of products, components and processes to specified drawings, standards, specifications and plans.

Perform visual inspection of products, components and processes to specified drawings, standards, specifications and plans.

Perform mechanical inspection of products, components and processes to specified drawings, standards, specifications and plans.

Interpret test and quality plans, drawings, specifications and standards in regard to test, inspection and data requirements and procedures.

Interpret, analyze, record and report test results in a timely, professional and efficient manner.

Organize and control the testing work-flow process ensuring proper scheduling and efficient use of test equipment in order to meet delivery, quality, data and test requirements.

Create and maintain proper records of test activities and test samples; utilizing efficient methods of creation, storage and retrieval.

Coordinate and track calibration, maintenance, upgrade and repair of test equipment.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

1-3 Years’ experience in a quality assurance/control setting within a manufacturing environment.

Must be able to read and understand basic hand inspection tools and magnifiers.

Basic computer skills.

Blueprint Reading, GD&T Preferred.

Optical component/assembly inspection experience preferred.

Experience performing Environmental, Durability and Reliability testing; testing of optical and opto-electronic products, components and processes preferred.

Ability to work with a great deal of independence.

Good team player.

Abilities Required:

Good manual dexterity

Ability to follow directions.

Good communication skills

Blueprint Reading

Basic Computer skills

Good Multi-tasking skills

Requires initiative and mental concentration to learn new skills and techniques.

Exercises independent judgment when inspecting parts acceptability for further operations.

Requirements and Competencies: Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents. Ability to communicate effectively to team members and management.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to apply general mathematical concepts.

Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience in QA/QC or technical discipline.

Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles preferred.

The job may involve prolonged periods of sitting/standing.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus and see colors. May involve prolonged periods of magnified inspection (eye strain).

Potential for highly repetitive work, usually in a fixed body position for a sustained period of time.

Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp.

The employee is frequently required to use the computer.

Work Environment:

May involve the use of oils and solvents.

Subject to some soilage and irritation from cleaning solutions. (Lab Coats provided)

Generally, works in a clean environment and works to maintain the environment as such.

Safety Glasses are required

May require area specific safety training

This position works in a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

May be exposed to conditions prevalent in a manufacturing environment such as heat and humidity.

The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne paper particles.

May work at different workstations as production needs require, or shifts from one station to another, during the production process.
