Are you a Software Engineer or an IT professional that is looking for your next career opportunity? One of Rochester most established organizations is looking to add multiple members to their Quality Assurance team. The Test Engineers will be responsible for testing web based business applications in a collaborative team environment. Ideal candidates for the role of Software Engineer will have automated software testing experience and familiarity with quality assurance testing tool such as Quality Center. Any experience working in an Agile environment would also be a plus as this is integrated development organization. A basic understanding of SQL is also recommended for this position. Expectations: Develop and test feature software using Java, Python, etc. •Executing manual and automated test scripts •Provide detailed documentation on bugs and defect in the appropriate testing tool •Collaborating with Software Development on testing efforts and planning Requirements of the Software Engineer: Development experience with Java, Python, Javascript, etc. •Some experience testing software or business applications •Basic understanding of SQL for data validation would be a plus •Experience with one or multiple quality assurance testing tools would be a plus Our client has been presented with multiple awards for the work environment they have created and they are driven to continue to be a market leader in their industry.
