- Work in conjunction with Project Manager on Contract Buyout for specific projects
- Assist Project Superintendents with the implementation of job site safety procedures, notifications, signage, supplies and equipment
- Cost coding of various scope items for accounting
- Assists Project Manager with Contract Buyout with subcontractors and material vendors
- Prepares submittal packages and assure conformity to specifications and drawings
- Bond/Insurance/Permit coordination to ensure bonds, insurance and permits are current and accurate
- Work with Project Manager in communicating effectively with client, coordinating meetings, and completing contract documents
- Draft meeting agendas, meeting minutes for all project meetings attended
- Manage Project Document Control System by maintaining document controls and distribution to include but not limited to: Request for Information (RFI), Project Submittals/Logs, Contract Documents, Cost Reports, Proposed Change Orders/Logs (PCO), Punch List, Project Closeout Documentation
- Work with the Project Manager and Superintendent to prepare, update and provide an accurate "Three-Week Look Ahead" on a weekly basis.
- Review subcontractors pay estimates prior to management approval; review the owner's pay estimate prior to management's approval
- Assist in the supervision of cost report management and assist or lead regular review meetings
- Identify issues early and work to develop solutions
- Prepare required information for presentation at project reviews
- Carry out job duties and responsibilities while maintaining core values

- Knowledge of Civil Construction, Earthwork, Excavation, and Utilities construction.
- Ability to manage time effectively and provide innovation when needed.
- Willingness to understand corporate and industry practices and standards, processes, and activities.
- BA degree in Construction Management or in Engineering
- General Civil Construction experience helpful with Underground Utilities (Storm, Sanitary, Water).
- Familiar with grading, clearing, excavation, drainage, stream restoration, design build, and other civil construction scopes
- Prior construction/project experience and experience as a Project Coordinator in a similar role is plus.
- Keen attention to detail and an aptitude for problem solving; ability to proactively address potential issues.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail oriented a must.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Passion for the work and industry.
- U. S. Citizenship and ability to pass background check
- Military service or experience working on military installations (Preferred)
- Experience with federal contracts and/or union work (Preferred)
