Annual Non-Exempt Salary: $37,849Job Duties:The successful candidate will be expected to:

Communicate with RCIL’s leave management company to effectively track and process all STD, FMLA, PFL and Worker’s Compensation claims.

Handle the leave administration process from the employee’s initial notice of medical leave to their return to work.

Facilitate accommodation requests under the ADA.

Communicate with RCIL’s unemployment vendor to effectively manage unemployment claims.

Assist with employee insurance benefits and 401k plan.

Assist with coordinating various employee benefit events (ex. Benefit Fair, Open Enrollment, Flu Clinics)

Education:

An associate’s degree in a related field is preferred; a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Two years of experience in Human Resources highly preferred.

Experience with Leave Management including FMLA, PFL and DBL, New York State Unemployment, Workers Compensation, ADA, and Human Resources is highly preferred.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Excellent organization, oral and written communication, customer service, attention to detail, analytical skills, ability to work independently and with a diverse mix of consumers, professionals, and vendors, and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
